I became interested in learning about spirituality from the age of 15 and have studied various different religions, philosophies, and spiritual paths since then.
Spirituality can go very deep but I rarely go very deep in my NoFap coaching unless it’s necessary.
I often use words like ‘God’ and ‘devil’ to make things simple to understand.
For example I might say ‘the OF girls are not your enemy - our only enemy is the devil, who makes people greedy enough to be ok with exploiting lonely men for profit. This means that we shouldn’t hate OF girls because they wouldn’t be doing what they’re doing if they weren’t imbued with greed.’
In my philosophy, evil manifests itself in seven ways: pride (arrogance), greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth. Learn more about the seven vices here.
So I use the idea of the ‘devil’ in the same way that it has been used for millennia: as an anthropomorphic metaphor for evil.
‘Anthropomorphic’ means giving human traits or qualities to things that aren't human, just so it’s easier for us to understand.
